Two New Releases
2001 Dry Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet is produced from the grapes grown in red soils on the Eastern slope of Bradford Mountain, overlooking Dry
Creek Valley. This wine consistently shows the characteristics of a serious Cab. The vines are 30 years old. The grapes
produce a wine that is perfectly balanced with intense aromas and tastes of blueberry, boysenberry, cassis and plum with spicy,
cedar and clove overtones. It is 95% Cabernet and 5% Merlot. The concentration and ample tannic structure should allow for
8-to-10 years of bottle aging. Enjoy with steak, game birds, prime rib and chocolate. Some details:
- Harvested October 2001
- 3.5 tons/acre
- Aged 18 months in French oak barrels
- 305 cases produced
This wine is just $29.00 per bottle (Cellar Club Members
$23.20). You can

2002 Russian River Chardonnay
With a sense of harmony, elegance and style, our 2002 Russian River Chardonnay displays notes of fresh
pineapple, citrus and crisp green apple. Overtones of toast and spice are the results of fermentation in French
oak
barrels (25% new oak).
The Sur Lies aging (the wine is left in contact with the fine lees) and a partial malolactic
fermentation provide fullness, liveliness and a long-lasting finish that retains the aromatic complexity of the nose
and produces a round mouth feel. Appreciate this wine with salmon, oysters, vegetable risotto, crab, lobster and
scallops or sip as a reward after a long day. Some details:
- Harvested October 2002
- 3.8 tons/acre
- Aged 9 months in French oak barrels
- 238 cases produced
Just $22.00 per bottle ($17.60 for
Cellar Club Members).
