USA TodayHealdsburg, CA was the featured destination in the April 16, 2006 edition of the USA Today Travel section. In an article entitled "Healdsburg Ripens on the Vine," Healdsburg was proclaimed "Sonoma Wine Country's prime destination." No article on Healdsburg and wine is complete without mentioning the surrounding Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. The author singles out standout grape varieties in these premier wine growing regions, and listed recommended tasting rooms. Of course, Christopher Creek is among the Russian River Valley recommendations!

The Wall Street JournalThe September 16, 2005 Tastings column from The Wall Street Journal touted A Winemaker’s Dozen (the Napa-Sonoma Tour) and noted that “good wine is a product of personal passion.” And we at Christopher Creek couldn’t agree more. We were pleased to be listed as one of the 12 most memorable wines from this trip, with our 2003 Russian River Valley Petite Sirah described as “simply amazing” and “smooth and beautifully made, like a soufflé of blackberries and bittersweet chocolate.” Come visit us at our Tasting Room and taste our passion! Fan MailDear Christopher Creek:We have been club members for several years and enjoy most of your wines. Tonight, we opened the 2003 Russian River Zinfandel. We really like this wine. It has the aromas and flavors of a great Zinfandel, but without the raisiny, pruny, overripe qualities of more and more Zinfandels. With a little acidity and good balance, it pairs well with food. I hope you continue to make Zinfandels like this in a slightly more restrained style than what we see so often from many other producers. We look forward to many more years of your wines like this. Brian Crabtree Raymond, MS Dear Christopher Creek:We visited you this past summer and have enjoyed the 2004 Reserve Petite Sirah. We visited 25 wineries and think that this is the best wine of them all. I do not see it listed on your web site. Please advise as to if there is any available for purchase. Thank you. David Janazzo, New Jersey To all at Christopher Creek Winery, especially Al:On Thursday, September 28, 2006, myself, along with my group of friends, stumbled on your winery/tasting room.
It was one of our best finds! Being from the DC and Chicago areas, we were not familiar with Christopher Creek Wines. Al quickly
